Privacy notice for job applicants

When you apply, the company you apply to is the data controller for your application. The careers platform processes your data on its behalf, under the Kenya Data Protection Act, 2019.

What we collect

• Your name, email, phone number and location
• Your CV, documents and answers to screening questions
• Notes and scores recorded by the hiring team, and messages sent to you

Why

To assess you for the job you applied for, and to keep you informed by email, in the app and, if you agree, on WhatsApp. If you agree separately, the company may keep your profile for future roles.

How long

Applications are anonymised after the company's retention period (12 months after the job closes by default). Talent pool profiles are removed after 24 months unless you renew your consent.

Your rights

You can see, download, correct or delete your data and withdraw consent at any time from your account. Reply STOP to any WhatsApp message to stop WhatsApp updates. Automated scores are advisory: a person makes every hiring decision.
